4th Step Workshop

Step Four of Twelve

“Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.”

Twice a year, the clubhouse walks through this step together — a free, facilitated afternoon where you write your own inventory. No experience needed, nothing to sign up for, open to anyone in the recovery community.

How the Afternoon Works

This is an interactive, supportive gathering — not a lecture. Facilitators steer the whole process, following the directions in the chapter “How It Works” from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous.

  1. 1

    Readings & stories

Facilitators open with readings and their own personal stories and experiences with the step.

  2. 2

    Four worksheets

You are led step-by-step through four topic-specific worksheets — the structure that makes the inventory approachable.

  3. 3

    Your inventory

By the end of the afternoon you have your own searching and fearless moral inventory under way.
